Every supermarket you visit will have a large selection
of wines, some even priced at under a Euro a litre. However, you will find a
far more interesting selection, together with expert advice, at a Bodega.
Here the very cheap wine is usually sold on draught - dispensed often from large oak barrels - with the bottled wines generally ranging from medium to high price.
We particularly like La Ermita in Los Belones.
It supplies a lot of the local restaurants with their house and more expensive wines.
In particular, some of the mid-priced wines are exceptional and we have always found the recommendations by the owner to be worth following.
Entering Los Belones from the end nearest Playa Paraiso, La Ermita is in a side street on the left. Follow the large sign.
