This panel lists all non-spam comments for the last n days, where n is a configuration setting you can change. If there is no action message shown the comment is “approved.”
You should review the comments on this list at least once every n days or more frequently if you get many comments. Look for:
- Comments that are spam but were not marked as so by the Akismet service. Use the [Is Spam] link to delete such comments. Doing so causes a mis-diagnosis notice to be sent to the Akismet service.
- Comments that have a warning message in the Action column. Such comments must be either approved or deleted.
